Student Admission by Lateral Transfer

The exemption and adjustment procedures of the student admitted by lateral transfer are as follows:

• Students who wish to transfer horizontally submit their applications with official documents through the application system to the Institution.
• The student’s application documents are forwarded to the relevant department via the Dean’s Office.
• The Departmental Exemption and Transfer Committee reviews the student’s transcript and compares it with the current department curriculum, and decides which courses the student will be exempt from in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• The Program Exemption Committee processes the “Transfer and Exemption Form” by indicating the course codes, credits (ECTS), course names taken in the previous degree program, and the class/semester into which the student is placed, and submits it to the Dean’s Office.
• The relevant Dean’s Office, with the decision of the Faculty Administrative Board, informs the Directorate of Student Affairs about the courses from which the student is exempt.
• For students who gain the right to transfer, course registrations are arranged in a way that allows them to start the new academic year together with other students.
