GENERAL INFORMATION
The Basic Principles and Skills Laboratory is an educational space where fundamental healthcare practices are demonstrated and taught to students in a practical manner. The laboratory provides a realistic learning environment designed to help students acquire healthcare practices and essential clinical skills.
Laboratory Infrastructure
Located on the basement floor (-1) of the Kağıthane campus, the laboratory covers an area of 78 m². It offers a modern learning environment where students can transform their theoretical knowledge into practice and enhance their professional skills. Equipped with educational materials and simulation equipment, the laboratory allows students to learn anatomy practically using various anatomical models.
Additionally, students have the opportunity to develop their professional skills by practicing essential healthcare applications such as blood pressure measurement, venous access, medication administration, IV fluid preparation, and setup. Through the CPR mannequin, students can practice cardiac massage techniques, while the arm model allows them to perform intravenous (IV) procedures in a realistic manner. These applications form a foundation for students to effectively and accurately participate in healthcare services and provide them with a crucial practical training space to refine their skills.
