GENERAL INFORMATION
The Nursing Basic Skills Laboratory is equipped with simulation mannequins, partial models for invasive procedures, medical supplies for drug administration, and other various nursing applications. These resources enable students to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, preparing them for clinical practice and the nursing profession. The laboratory provides students with the opportunity to develop fundamental nursing skills through hands-on learning. By practicing on simulators for procedures such as injections and catheterization, students gain an interactive learning experience that simulates real-life scenarios. This laboratory supports students in acquiring fundamental nursing skills through observation and practical applications.
Laboratory Infrastructure
Located on the basement floor (-1) of the Kağıthane campus, the Nursing Basic Skills Laboratory covers a gross area of 50.3 m² and is designed to effectively facilitate students’ acquisition of fundamental nursing skills. The laboratory provides students with the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice for patient care and emergency interventions. Additionally, interactive training modules and realistic scenarios help students enhance their technical and clinical skills while strengthening their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. This setting allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and develop professional competencies.
