The Birth Preparation and Midwifery Basic Training Laboratory provides students with comprehensive training in newborn care. In this laboratory, students learn the care of term and preterm newborns, vaccination programs, intramuscular and subcutaneous injection techniques, drug administration, and enteral and parenteral feeding methods. The training aims to ensure the safe and effective execution of these procedures, preparing students for professional practice with hands-on training in newborn health.

Laboratory Infrastructure

Located on the basement floor (-1) of the Kağıthane campus, the Birth Preparation and Midwifery Basic Training Laboratory covers a gross area of 32.8 m² and offers an educational environment where students engage in active learning rather than passive observation. In this laboratory, students analyze their experiences and deepen their learning through hands-on practice and theoretical application.
