GENERAL INFORMATION

The Simulated Birth and Neonatal Laboratory aims to comprehensively teach students about the birth process and postnatal period through practical training. Laboratory activities provide detailed information about pelvic anatomy and dimensions, helping students understand fetal movements through the birth canal.

Laboratory Infrastructure

Located on the basement floor (-1) of the Kağıthane campus, the Simulated Birth and Neonatal Laboratory covers a gross area of 41 m² and provides a fully equipped training environment for practical education on normal childbirth and neonatal care. With an advanced pregnant woman simulator, all stages of labor and possible complications are simulated as realistically as possible, allowing students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice. Additionally, comprehensive training on neonatal care and emergency intervention techniques is provided. This laboratory enables students to gain professional knowledge and skills related to childbirth and neonatal care.
