GENERAL INFORMATION
The Multidisciplinary Laboratory provides students with an environment where various disciplines work together and conduct research and experiments in different fields. Additionally, it allows students to gain practical experience in courses such as Basic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Laboratory Chemistry, and Clinical Biochemistry.
Laboratory Infrastructure
Located on the 12th floor of the Kağıthane campus, the laboratory covers a gross area of 192.9 m², offering a spacious and versatile educational and research area. It is equipped with fundamental laboratory instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, and incubators, as well as specialized equipment for advanced analyses and experiments. This infrastructure enables students to conduct various experimental studies and develop practical skills.
The laboratory is also equipped with safety measures, including chemical storage cabinets for safely storing chemicals, emergency eye wash stations, and safety showers. Additionally, fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, and specialized ventilation systems allow students to perform laboratory procedures safely.
With this infrastructure, students, under the supervision of faculty members, have the opportunity to assess the quality of their prepared experiments and solutions and evaluate potential errors. This process reinforces hands-on education through peer learning while helping students integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
