GENERAL INFORMATION

The Manual Therapy Laboratory provides students with training in massage and manual techniques. This laboratory allows students to learn and apply manual therapy techniques through hands-on practice.

Laboratory Infrastructure

Located on the basement floor (-1) of the Kağıthane campus, the laboratory covers a gross area of 110.9 m² and is designed to comprehensively teach students massage therapy and manual application techniques. The laboratory provides training on fundamental manual therapy principles and various treatment techniques for musculoskeletal disorders. Students gain experience in techniques such as massage, mobilization, manipulation, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.

The laboratory integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical skills, helping students develop a comprehensive understanding of patient assessment, treatment planning, and manual therapy applications. Students acquire the ability to correctly and safely apply manual therapy techniques tailored to patients' needs. This training process contributes to their professional development as manual therapists, equipping them to provide effective and safe treatments.
