İstanbul Kent Üniversitesi 2023-2024 Eğitim Öğretim yılı Yaz Öğretiminde tüm dersler ve sınavlar yüz yüze yapılacaktır. İstanbul Kent Üniversitesi öğrencileri ve bir yükseköğretim programında kayıtlı öğrenciler yaz okulunda açılan derslere başvuru yapabilirler.
Yaz Öğretimi başvuru takvimi aşağıda yer almaktadır. OIS üzerinden ders başvurusu yaparak eğitim ücretini yatıranların başvuruları değerlendirmeye alınacaktır.

Yaz Öğretiminde Ders Alma Koşulları

• Yaz öğretiminde en fazla 3 ders ve 18 AKTS’ye kadar ders alınabilir.
• Üniversite ile ilişiği kesilen öğrenciler yaz öğretiminden yararlanamazlar.
• Yaz öğretiminde bir dersin açılabilmesi için en az 8 (sekiz) öğrencinin ders seçerek dersin mali yükümlülüğünü yerine getirmiş olması gerekmektedir. Eğitim ücreti ödenmeyen derslere yapılan başvurular geçersiz sayılmaktadır. En az 8 öğrencinin mali yükümlülüğünü yerine getirmediği dersler açılmayacaktır. Öğrencilerin yatırdığı ücret iade edilir veya açılan farklı bir ders seçilebilir.
• Yaz öğretiminde ücret hesaplaması AKTS üzerinden yapılır.
• Dersler başladıktan sonra dersten çekilen öğrencinin ücret iadesi yapılmaz.

Kent Üniversitesi Öğrencileri İçin Başvuru ve Kayıt İşlemleri

• Başvuru süresi içerisinde OIS üzerinden yaz okulunda alınması talep edilen derslerin ders seçme ekranından yapılması,
• Yaz öğretiminde alınması talep edilen derslerin AKTS değerleri üzerinden ücretin yatırılmış olması, (Mali İşler Direktörlüğü’nden destek alabilirsiniz.) maliisler@kent.edu.tr
• Derslerin onaylanmasından sonra OİS sistemi üzerinden kayıtlarını takip etmek, (Kayıt tarihleri arasında)

Yaz Öğretimi uygulama esaslarında hüküm bulunmayan hâllerde “İstanbul Kent Üniversitesi Ön Lisans ve Lisans Eğitim-Öğretim ve Sınav Yönetmeliği” hükümleri geçerlidir.

• Ödenecek yaz öğretim ücreti, anlaşmalı bankaların kredi kartlarına vade farksız 2 taksit şeklinde uygulanır. 
• Peşin ödeme indirimi bulunmamaktadır.

All courses for the Istanbul Kent University 2023-2024 Academic Year Summer School will be carried out face-to-face. Istanbul Kent University students and students registered at other higher education programs may apply for the courses available in the summer school.

Conditions for Summer School Courses

• Students may enroll to a maximum of 3 courses and up to 18 ECTS for the summer school.
• Students who have been dismissed from the university cannot benefit from summer school.
• For any course to be offered in the summer school, it is required that at least eight students apply and fulfill the financial requirements. If a course does not reach this minimum number of enrolled students, it will not be available for that summer term. In such cases, the fees paid by the students will be fully refunded. Alternatively, students can choose to enroll in a different course that is available.
• The summer school fees are estimated over ECTS.
• Students who drop the course after the courses have started will not be refunded.

Application and Registration Procedures for the Istanbul Kent University Students

• All course requests submitted within the application period for the summer school must be carried out through the OIS system.
• The fee for the courses requested to be taken in summer school must be paid over their ECTS. (Contact with Financial Affairs Directorate for more information.) maliisler@kent.edu.tr
• Students must keep track of their registration through the OIS system after the courses are approved. (Between the registration dates)

Applications of Students from a Different Higher Education Institution to Istanbul Kent University’s Summer School

Students from different higher education institutions must select the courses through the link https://ois.kent.edu.tr/basvurular/kurumdisiyazokulu

Required documents:

• Student certificate
• Residence document
• An approval letter from the registered university stating that student may apply for a summer school course from our university.
• Copy of identity card
• 1 Passport photo
• Payment for the requested course

In cases where there is no provision in the summer school application principles, the provisions of the “Istanbul Kent University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education, Training and Examination Regulations” are applied.

• Summer school is a paid education for all students. Fees are estimated over course ECTS.
• ÖSYM and other scholarships are not applied for the summer school.
• Turkish students can pay their summer school fees in two interest-free installments with credit cards from selected banks. International students should pay the full amount in USD.
• There is no cash discount.
• The students who withdraw from the course after the start of the courses will not be refunded.
