Head of Program

The Digital Health Systems Technician Program aims to train individuals who possess the digital competencies required by the 21st century, can effectively use modern software and systems, ensure the security of patient data, master information and document management processes, and apply technology in healthcare with a human-centered approach.

Our students will graduate as qualified professionals by learning both core health courses and specialized field courses from our expert faculty members. Within the program, students will take courses such as anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and disease knowledge, in addition to statistics, algorithms, programming, data collection, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and smart health systems.

Students will also have the opportunity to apply these skills in professional practice through internship programs in the 3rd and 4th semesters, enhancing their experience and competence.

To successfully complete the program, students must pass all compulsory and elective courses (equivalent to 120 ECTS credits) and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.

The main objective of the program is to train individuals who can effectively manage information systems used in healthcare institutions, process electronic health records, perform digital archiving, and acquire basic knowledge in artificial intelligence applications and data analysis in healthcare.

The program's goal is to educate qualified technicians who can contribute to the integration, use, and development of advanced health information systems such as E-Nabız, MHRS, HBYS (Hospital Information Management System), EHR (Electronic Health Record), HIS (Health Information Systems), LIS (Laboratory Information System), RIS (Radiology Information System), and pharmacy management systems.
