Following are the center's areas of activity:

a) To conduct research on family, gender and women's studies, promote research, hold conferences, seminars, meetings and organize symposiums.
b) To transfer proposals, information and experience about family, gender and women's studies to the relevant committees.
c) To prepare programs related to education in the fields of family, gender and women's studies, to carry out studies for the development of education, management and tools.
d) To carry out educational activities related to the fields of family, gender and women's studies, to coordinate the processes and to conduct research.
e) To cooperate with universities and centers at home and abroad on projects within the scope of the provisions of the relevant legislation.
f) To provide research, consultancy, training and similar services on family, gender equality awareness, women's rights and women's issues to the private sector and public institutions in accordance with the provisions of the relevant legislation.
g) To publish periodical and non-periodical publications in national and international platforms and journals thanks to the research, symposiums and studies conducted in line with the objectives of the center.
