The activity areas of the KENT-AR are as follows:

a) To conduct scientific studies on the functioning, problems, and potentials of cities.
b) To conduct research and practical studies aimed at solving urban problems and evaluating urban potentials, in collaboration with working groups and relevant stakeholders formed within the Center.
c) To develop urban policies in cooperation with stakeholders, considering scientific studies and research.
d) To support undergraduate and postgraduate programs operating in this field at the University; to propose the establishment of certification programs in this field and organize such programs.
e) To carry out education and awareness activities for various segments of society related to its areas of study.
f) To organize or participate in national and international congresses, conferences, seminars, symposiums, panels, and similar scientific events.
g) To publish scientific works.
h) To collaborate with national and international institutions and organizations and develop joint projects.
i) To prepare projects to benefit from national and international funds.
j) To provide consultancy services at the national and international levels.
