Dear Students,

First of all, we wish you healthy days, hoping that you, your families and all your loved ones are in good condition during this difficult Covid19 pandemic that is going on in our beloved Country and the World.

10-week long free English lessons in the framework of Open Courses and Speaking Club lessons that were initially planned to be opened on Monday, April 6, 2020 are postponed to the 2020-2021 Academic Year, with the same lists, without any forfeiture, unless otherwise foreseen.

Because all formal higher education across the country has to be changed to distance education as a result of the pandemic, and as an important health measure; both to protect the health of  students and to ensure that the students who had to return to their family would not experience forfeiture.

The new start date will be announced sometime during the 2020-2021 Academic Year, and a new waiver period will be set for students who wish to opt out of enrollment. At the end of this period, if necessary, additions will be made from the list of alternate candidates, final lists will be decided and the courses will start.

We would like to share with you that we are deeply saddened by this mandatory postponement. Also, we care deeply for our students and hope to start giving this valuable training to you in 2020-2021 Academic Year.

In the meantime, we strongly urge our students to take advantage of the online English learning platform we have created; Kent Evde İngilizce.

We wish you all healthy days and success.

Kind regards,

Istanbul Kent University Erasmus+ and International Programs Office

Dear Students,

First of all, we wish you healthy days, hoping that you, your families and all your loved ones are in good condition during this difficult Covid19 pandemic that is going on in our beloved Country and the World.

Since the Higher Education Council has indefinitely halted all international mobility activities until further notice, as a measure taken in the framework of combating the Covid19 pandemic,

  • also the institutions and clinics in most Program countries have closed internship applications and stopped student admissions due to the Covid19 pandemic;
  • obtaining the required ‘Acceptance Letter’ document for in-house applications for Erasmus+ Mobility for Training, does not currently appear to be possible. Thus, applications for Erasmus+ Mobility for Training that were scheduled to be opened in April 2020 for the summer of 2020;

Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeships has been postponed to 2020-2021 academic year.

At the end of the applications for Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeships, which are planned to be opened in 2020-2021 academic year, under normal circumstances, our students will be able to participate in mobility in the summer 2021 and the next year. In 2020-2021 academic year, if students, who are in their last year of university education, apply and win the elections, can participate in Erasmus+ Mobility for Training for a minimum of two and a maximum of three months long duration, as from one year after their date of graduation.

We wish you all healthy days and success.

Cordially,

Istanbul Kent University Erasmus+ and International Programs Office
