MISSION
The mission of the Department of Social Work is to educate social work professionals who aim to enhance the well-being of individuals, families, groups, and communities based on human rights, social justice, equality, and ethical values; who are sensitive to social problems, capable of critical thinking, able to develop practices grounded in scientific knowledge, respectful of cultural diversity, and contributors to social transformation. Our department aims to train professionals who combine contemporary theoretical knowledge with practical skills, who are equipped to work in public institutions, local governments, non-governmental organizations, and international settings; who can contribute to the development of social work policies, possess digital competencies, and embrace the principle of lifelong learning.
VISION
As the Department of Social Work, our vision is to become a respected and competent academic unit that leads the advancement of social justice, human rights, and equality; develops effective social work practices at both local and global levels; embraces interdisciplinary approaches; pioneers scientific production and social contribution; cultivates social work professionals who are ethically grounded and adaptable to digital transformation.
