QUALITY COMMISSION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the preparation of the unit's strategic plan.
- Review academic and administrative activities in line with the strategic plan and objectives; carry out efforts to enhance service quality and fulfill all duties related to accreditation processes.
- Prepare the Internal Evaluation Report of the unit.
- Make necessary preparations for certification and monitoring activities to be conducted by independent evaluation organizations within the scope of the Quality Management System and provide the necessary support to these organizations.
- Communicate the decisions taken by the Quality Commission to the relevant academic and administrative units within the department, contribute to their implementation, and monitor their outcomes.
- Prepare an annual report on the activities carried out and submit it to the Quality Commission by the end of January each year.
- Fulfill other duties as required by this directive and as determined by the Quality Commission.

EXEMPTION AND ADAPTATION COMMISSION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine and implement the procedures applicable to all types of student transfers.
- Carry out the adaptation arrangements regarding the class levels and courses for students transferring internally, from other institutions, or enrolled in double major programs.
- Identify the equivalent courses taken at other higher education institutions and conduct grade conversions for approved courses.
- Examine the files of students transferring through lateral or vertical transfers, and archive related documents digitally.
- Establish, implement, and digitally document adaptation criteria for students re-enrolling under amnesty regulations, in accordance with Senate decisions.

LATERAL TRANSFER / VERTICAL TRANSFER AND DOUBLE MAJOR / MINOR COMMISSION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, evaluate, and finalize applications.
- Approve the registration of eligible students.
- Organize interviews or additional evaluation processes when necessary.
- Make decisions regarding adaptation courses and exemptions.
- Submit reports to the relevant administrative board (faculty/university).

EDUCATION, MEASUREMENT, AND EVALUATION COMMISSION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting Student and Alumni Feedback: Prepare, implement, conduct digitally, and update measurement tools such as course evaluations and alumni surveys.
- Monitoring and Evaluating Program Outcomes: Determine the alignment of undergraduate courses with program outcomes, measure contribution rates, analyze results, and report periodically.
- Enhancing the Quality of Examination and Assessment Processes: Review exam questions and answer keys, evaluate exam results, and develop more effective assessment methods.
- Monitoring Academic Achievement Data: Track the central exam achievements (YKS, ALES, YÖKDİL/YDS, etc.) of undergraduate and graduate students and share the results with relevant commissions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform statistical analyses of all activities, prepare regular reports, and submit them to the Department Accreditation Commission.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES AND CURRICULUM COMMISSION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Academic Structuring: Review proposals regarding the establishment, closure, or merging of academic units and programs, and submit opinions to the Senate.
- Curriculum Regulations: Evaluate course content, curriculum changes, and related legislative drafts.
- Applied Education and Quality Improvement: Develop recommendations regarding internships, summer schools, training programs for educators, and conduct efforts to enhance education quality.
- Data Collection and Planning: Collect data and conduct analyses regarding the academic calendar, quotas, and faculty teaching loads, and report findings to the Senate.
- Process Monitoring and Guidance: Ensure the application of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle in education processes and evaluate instructions received from the Rectorate.
