QUALITY COMMISSION

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the preparation of the unit's strategic plan,
  • Review academic and administrative activities in line with the strategic plan and objectives, carry out initiatives to enhance service quality, and fulfill all tasks related to accreditation processes,
  • Prepare the Self-Evaluation Report of the unit,
  • Within the scope of the Quality Management System, make the necessary preparations for certification and monitoring activities conducted by independent evaluation institutions, and provide the required support to these institutions,
  • Communicate the decisions made by the Quality Commission to the relevant academic and administrative units within the institution, contribute to the implementation of these decisions, and monitor their outcomes,
  • Organize meetings every February and June to evaluate the ongoing activities,
  • Perform other necessary duties in accordance with this directive and the procedures and principles set by the Quality Commission.

EXEMPTION AND COURSE EQUIVALENCY COMMISSION

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine and implement the principles to be applied for all types of student transfers in coordination with the relevant department,
  • Arrange course and level adjustments for students transferring within or between institutions, or enrolled in double major programs,
  • Identify equivalent courses taken at other higher education institutions and determine grade conversions for approved courses,
  • Review the files of students admitted through horizontal and vertical transfer pathways, and archive the relevant adaptation documents in digital format,
  • Establish and implement course equivalency criteria for students re-enrolled under amnesty regulations in accordance with Senate decisions, and document the outcomes digitally.

HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL TRANSFER AND DOUBLE MAJOR/MINOR PROGRAMS COMMISSION

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the collection, evaluation, and finalization of applications,
  • Approve the enrollment of eligible students,
  • Organize interviews or additional evaluation processes when necessary,
  • Decide on adaptation courses and exemption matters,
  • Submit reports to the relevant administrative board (faculty/university).

EDUCATION, ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION COMMISSION

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collecting feedback from students and graduates,
  • Preparing, implementing, conducting digitally, and updating assessment tools such as course evaluations and alumni surveys,
  • Monitoring and evaluating program learning outcomes,
  • Determining the alignment of undergraduate courses with program outcomes, measuring contribution levels, analyzing data, and reporting periodically,
  • Enhancing the quality of examination and assessment-evaluation processes,
  • Reviewing exam questions and answer keys, evaluating exam results, and developing more effective assessment and evaluation methods,
  • Monitoring academic performance data under the supervision of student advisors,
  • Conducting data analysis and reporting,
  • Performing statistical analysis of all activities, regularly reporting the results, and submitting them to the Departmental Accreditation Commission.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES AND CURRICULUM COMMISSION

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Academic Structuring: Reviewing proposals related to the establishment, closure, or merger of new academic units and programs, and providing opinions to the Rectorate/Dean’s Office,
  • Curricular Regulations: Evaluating course content, curriculum changes, and related legislative drafts,
  • Practical Training and Quality Enhancement: Conducting studies to improve the quality of education,
  • Data Collection and Planning: Gathering data and conducting analyses on matters such as the academic calendar, student quotas, and teaching staff workload, and reporting findings to the Rectorate/Dean’s Office,
  • Process Monitoring and Guidance: Ensuring the application of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle in educational processes and providing assessments regarding directives from the Rectorate.
