Aim
To educate nurses who are responsive to the evolving health care needs of individuals, families, and communities; committed to ethical principles; capable of critical thinking; able to apply scientific evidence and technology in practice; and respectful of human rights.
Objectives
- To prepare nurses who adopt a holistic approach in the protection, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for individuals, families, and communities.
- To educate healthcare professionals who are aware of professional ethics and legal responsibilities, demonstrate effective communication skills, and engage in inquiry and evidence-based practice.
- To develop competent nurses who can integrate science and technology into nursing practice and undertake roles in education, management, consultancy, and patient advocacy.
- To cultivate nurses who contribute to national and international professional development, embrace innovation, and lead change.
- To support the advancement of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective healthcare services through research and scholarly activities.
- To collaborate with public institutions and non-governmental organizations in contributing to health policy development and addressing national health priorities.
