As the Department of Health Management at Istanbul Kent University, we aim to train effective and innovative managers who will lead the health sector. The complex and dynamic structure of modern health services reveals the need for expert, innovative and visionary managers more than ever. In this context, we aim to train you as future health leaders and prepare you as innovative, investigative, competitive and “professional health managers” with managerial competencies who will take part in every level of health management.

In line with this purpose, our curriculum program, which is prepared to train you as well-equipped individuals in the field of health management, includes a wide range of courses such as health services management, strategic management, health economics, health law, and hospital management. In addition to theoretical courses, there are also internship programs for our students to develop their professional practice skills. Internship programs provide students with the opportunity to get to know the real working environment in health institutions and reinforce their theoretical knowledge in practice. In addition to theoretical courses prepared by taking into account international health management education programs and national health management curricula and delivered by experienced faculty members, professional practices and internships are at a level that will enable students to grow up as competent health managers.

Health management is a discipline that aims to ensure that health services are provided efficiently, effectively and economically. In addition, during your education and training, you will gain in-depth knowledge through seminars, conferences and workshops, and you will gain a global perspective through our international exchange programs.
