Educational Methods and Tools That Make Students Active in Nursing Education

Short description of the course: This is a mixed course with online meetings (1 month before preparation and online lectures) and workshops in auditorium.

Learning outcomes: To equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to enhance classroom interaction, encourage active participation, and effectively manage learning processes using student-centred teaching methods.

Location: Istanbul Kent University, Türkiye

Format: Online and face to face lectures

Number of participants: Maximum 5 students, and 3 educators for each institution.

Participating Institutions: Istanbul Kent University, Zdravstveno veleučilište Zagreb (University of Applied Health Sciences) – CROATIA, Tallinna Tervishoiu Kõrgkool- ESTONIA, Frederick University- CYPRUS, Klaipėdos Valstybinė Kolegija- LITHUANIA

Contact hours: 3 hours (online meetings), 35 hours (on-site meetings).

Student workload: 3 hours (online meetings), 35 hours (on-site meetings), 47 hours (self-directed learning).

Requirements for the candidates: Partake to whole program, Min B1 English language skill.

Assessment method: Evaluation questionnaire (anonymous).
