Communication Laboratory
Communication laboratory is the application area where students of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising carry out their campaigns and projects. It is also the meeting room where teams develop their ideas by brainstorming.
In this area, which is also open for use during extracurricular hours, the shootings performed in the photo studio and public relations and advertising campaigns assigned in the classes are also finalized.
In the Communications Laboratory, major designing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are used through Adobe in the framework of the application-based department courses. Hence, students are provided with a field of practice in which they can reflect their perspectives. In the laboratory, it is aimed to carry out focus group interviews and qualitative studies, and experience what stages a design process consists of.
In this area, where current advertising campaigns are evaluated for advertising course and creative ideas are revealed, students edit their own advertising footage, while they also design printed materials such as posters and brochures for Public Relations Course. In the framework of the course, students also design the logo and visual design of imaginary brands that they create in the Communication Laboratory.
There are computers equipped with the latest technology in the Communication Laboratory, which has an internet infrastructure with a capacity for 30 students.
