Important Announcement About the Education Process of the 2021-2022 Academic Year
Date : 14.09.2021
Dear Members of İstanbul Kent University,
Fall semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year will begin on Monday October 11th, 2021 at our university. Classes will be conducted face-to-face and online in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. Since face-to-face courses can also be followed synchronously (hybrid training) online, physical participation in theoretical courses is optional.
The requirement to wear mask throughout our campus will continue, vaccine and negative PCR check via HES code at the entrance of the campus will be carried out by our university to monitor risky cases.
Those who have not been vaccinated, must submit a negative PCR test result obtained within the last 72 hours at campus entrance, and since the PCR test results are valid for 72 hours, a new test result will be required at the end of the 72 hour-period. Students or employees who have not been vaccinated or fail to submit a negative PCR test result obtained within the last 72 hours will, under no circumstances, be given permission to enter the campus.
We would like to emphasize that every person over the age of 15 can be vaccinated in our country and we recommend that all our staff and students complete all their doses of vaccines by 01/10/2021 and create their vaccine certificates via E-Nabız system. We also recommend that our students and employees who have previously contracted COVID-19, also have their vaccines in due time according to the calendar determined by the Ministry of Health.
We would like to remind you that new decisions may be taken regarding courses and campus rules during the semester, and we would like to inform you that the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Council of Higher Education on this issue will be closely followed.
