2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR SUMMER SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT

All courses for the Istanbul Kent University 2022-2023 Academic Year Summer School will be carried out face-to-face. Istanbul Kent University students and students registered at other higher education programs may apply for the courses available in the summer school.
You can find the summer school application calendar below. The applications submitted through the OIS system as well as made the payment for the courses will be evaluated.

Conditions for Summer School Courses

  • Students may enroll to a maximum of 3 courses and up to 18 ECTS for the summer school.
  • Students who have been dismissed from the university cannot benefit from summer school.
  • In order for a course to be opened in summer school, at least 8 students must fulfill the financial obligations of the course by applying. Applications for courses for which at least 8 students do not fulfill the financial obligations will not be opened. In this case, the fee paid by the students will be refunded or a different course can be selected.
  • The summer school fees are estimated over ECTS.
  • Students who drop the course after the courses have started will not be refunded.

Application and Registration Procedures for the Istanbul Kent University Students

  • All course requests submitted within the application period for the summer school must be carried out through the OIS system.
  • The fee for the courses requested to be taken in summer school must be paid over their ECTS. (Contact with Financial Affairs Directorate for more information.) maliisler@kent.edu.tr
  • Students must keep track of their registration through the OIS system after the courses are approved. (Between the registration dates)
  • The registration of preparatory students will be made by the School of Foreign Languages, it is obligatory for students to submit a petition for the registration. For detailed information, contact the School of Foreign Languages. ydyo@kent.edu.tr

Applications of Students from a Different Higher Education Institution to Istanbul Kent University’s Summer School

Students from different higher education institutions must select the courses through the link https://ois.kent.edu.tr/basvurular/kurumdisiyazokulu

Required documents:

  • Student certificate
  • Residence document
  • An approval letter from the registered university stating that student may apply for a summer school course from our university.
  • Copy of identity card
  • 1 passport photo
  • Payment for the requested course

In cases where there is no provision in the summer school application principles, the provisions of the “Istanbul Kent University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education, Training and Examination Regulations” are applied.

Summer School Fees

COURSE FEE (1 ECTS)

Undergraduate, Associate 1000 TRY 100 USD
English Preparatory Course 7.500 TRY 625 USD
Turkish Preparatory Course - 315 USD
  • Summer school is a paid education for all students. Fees are estimated over course ECTS.
  • ÖSYM and other scholarships are not applied for the summer school.
  • Summer school fees to be paid are carried out through credit cards of the contracted banks in 3 installments without interest.
  • There is no cash discount.
  • The students who withdraw from the course after the start of the courses will not be refunded.
  • The fee for the Graduation Project course, which is 18 ECTS, carried out Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Department of Public Relations will be estimated as 9 ECTS.
