Career counseling is shaped within the framework of an overall assessment of a career goal or career steps that the consultant and the student/graduate will decide at the beginning of the session. Therefore, the content and course of the interview may vary depending on where you are in your career development. A general career counseling interview helps you understand your interests, set career goals that are appropriate for them, and clarify career options that are appropriate for your own values, skills, and strengths.

If you are coming for Master's Degree and PhD planning: Before you come to the interview, you are expected to determine the reason why you need to pursue higher education and decide whether you will study in Turkey or abroad. If you have not yet decided on this issue, we recommend that you clarify your need by conducting a “career counseling” interview with our career consultants.

If you are coming for reviewing your CV and Cover Letter: Study sample CV format and the factors that needs to be considered while writing cover letter on our web-page and bring the CV and cover letter that you wrote with you to your appointment.

Tell the career consultant whether your request is a rehearsal interview or to get information about the interview preparation process. If a specific institution/company interview is to be held, be sure to inform the consultant of the name/job description of the job that you will apply for.
